The 180º shower by Strohm Teka earns the iF DESIGN award

Strohm Teka is proud to have received the product design award with its revolutionary 180º shower column, the recognition of a patented concept that cleverly blends functionality and design

Strohm Teka, a company specialising in global bathroom solutions, is delighted to announce the accolade received by its 180º shower:  the iF Design Award, one of the most prestigious design awards in the world.

Every year since 1953, the world’s oldest independent design organisation, the iF International Forum Design, based in Hannover, holds the iF DESIGN AWARD event, seeking to highlight and recognise design innovation of hundreds of brands.

Inspired in one of its brand values – ‘Caring’- Strohm Teka present their new 180º shower. Its main feature is a patented system where the metallic hose is concealed in the bar, appearing when turned 180º.

This new product combines functionality with a minimalist and elegant design, while maintaining all the features of a luxury shower that is hygienic and easy to clean.

This innovative product also benefits from two technological systems that form part of the Brand Identity: the Dual Control shower system, with a thermostatic single mixer tap; and the Healthy system, which reduces the proliferation of bacteria by automatically emptying the water from the pipes when the shower tap is turned off.  

The 180º shower has also won other accolades in 2022: the “Most Innovative Shower Award” from the Interiores magazine in Spain, and Honourable mention in the European Design Awards.
